Finding yourself in a dinner planning rut?  I am back with another fab meal plan for the week!  This week {and most weeks from here on out,} is all about fast & easy!  The madness has officially started around this casa:  three boys + three different fall sports + three different days of practice=Total Chaos!!!  Fall sports have arrived!!  Almost all the meals this week can be prepped ahead of time, so when I’m walking in the door at 6:30pm with three hungry kiddos {that still have to do homework &shower} all I have to do is throw everything together to get it on the table fast!

Here are this week’s yummies!!

Here are some make ahead tips that can all be done in the morning {click the links for recipes}:

Cobb salad with french bread: Fry bacon & crumble, boil eggs & crumble.  Dice tomato. Grill chicken or cook in the oven-dice once cooled. Wash & chop lettuce. Chop green onion.  Put them individually into zip lock baggies, and throw them in the fridge.  When I’m ready for dinner all I need to do is cut the avocado and assemble.  {I like to use blue cheese dressing but you can  use whatever you like!}

Shrimp with capers, garlic, & rice/green beans: Peel and devein shrimp.  Use precooked long-grain or brown rice!

 Whole wheat pita pizzas with spinach & onions/caesar saladSlice onion.  Use bagged spinach.  Shred cheese.  Use a bagged caesar salad too!

Ten hour chicken/mashed sweet potatoes/steamed broccoli:   This is the ultimate no fuss meal!!  It takes about 10 minutes to get the chicken prepped & then you literally throw it into the oven for 10 hours{no joke!}  I always put mine in at 8:00am and it is ready at 6:00pm!  I boil and mash my sweet potatoes in the morning too, then all I have to do is reheat them!

Baby BLT burgers/chipotle maple black beans/grilled asparagus :  Fry and dice bacon.  Make the hamburger into patties.  Prepare the lettuce and tomatoes.  Make the pimento cheese sauce.

I’m so excited to let you know we are adding a “Daily 5 Eats” button to our sidebar.  Every Monday you will find a new meal plan for the week.  Use the printable meal planner & take the stress out of trying to figure out what to make for dinner each night {it’s just so cute too, so you can proudly hang it on the fridge!}

Here’s this week printable!

   What is your “go-to” meal?  I would love to share it with our readers!  Have a great week & happy cooking!!
